Bishop PJ Edmund is highly and widely respected as a key voice and a key mind in the Kingdom of God. He is celebrated for his in-depth examination and powerful presentation of God’s word.  The Kingdom is calling for the emergence of relevant preachers and leaders who can communicate and demonstrate accurate and substantive vision, for reaching this generation. In times like these, God raises up ministers, equipped to carry the power of the Gospel, with the ability to bring restoration and healing to a hurting and disconnected generation; Bishop PJ is such a man.   Bishop PJ is one of six children born to the late Bishop Gerald and the late Pastor Sweedie Edmund., a third-generation; apostolic bishop stemming from his late grandparents Bishops Christine Agatha and Charles Constantine Walsh of the Shiloh Apostolic Churches of Jamaica, West Indies.                        

Bishop PJ is affiliated with the Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), United Kingdom and Europe, Presiding Bishop Dexter Edmund, Sr. Bishop PJ is also the Establishmentarian and Senior Pastor of Timbrel Churches International, Inc. "Commissioned to Renew Lives",  with operations in the cities of District Heights and Baltimore, Maryland. As  the Prelate of Pneuma Fellowship International of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., he has keen oversight, passion and vision to independently cover, coach, mentor and guide several pastors, churches and leaders, both nationally and internationally. Timbrel Church International and Pneuma Fellowship have continued to stay on the cutting edge of innovative ministry, evangelism and Kingdom development, under his leadership.                                    

Bishop PJ has enjoyed a rich culture of ministry in the Pentecostal experience, which has guided his heart as an evangelist, pastor and leader. He credits his rich preparation in ministry to the environment created by his pastors and mentors:  the late Bishop Gerald and Pastor Sweedie Edmund, the late Bishop Sydney Alexander Dunn, and the late Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop Dr. Monroe R. Saunders, Sr.  As an accomplished scholar, Bishop PJ attended Summerhill School, as well as the Monkton House School in Cardiff, South Wales, where his science and theology journey began. After migrating with his family to Brooklyn, New York, his academic preparation continued at Kingsborough Community College in liberal arts and sciences.                        

Bishop PJ has “an earned” PhD., of Philosophy in Christian Counseling & Psychology; a Masters’ in Theology; and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is both humbled and honored to be the proud recipient of two Honorary Doctorates:  in Divinity, and Humane Letters; along with recognition by Howard University of Washington DC with the Chief Executive Award in Christian Leadership. Currently, he serves as the founder of the Edmund Divinity School International, Inc., in partnership with Cornerstone Christian University and Seminary overseeing the instruction of Kingdom leaders in the pursuit of theological degrees from the Associates to Doctoral level. Bishop PJ is also the Executive Director of PJ Edmund Ministries “presenting a Global Gospel”; and the PJ Edmund Leadership Institute “ensuring excellence in the training and development of progressive Kingdom leaders”.                

Bishop PJ has authored fifteen (15) books targeting leadership development and empowerment. He has been married to Pastor Michelle Edmund for thirty-five (35) years, and together, God has blessed them with three gifted children, Minister PJay, Jr., Minister Brittany and Minister Eryka Christine, daughter-in-love Minister Miche’ Edmund, and four  gifted grandchildren, Tyler, Tayler, Talia, and Tymir Edmund.
